MCPS-HD Released

For Immediate Release
07/09/2009

Raytheon Solipsys proudly announces the introduction of a robust and versatile line of portable display systems, which offers greater flexibility to the user to tailor the footprint of the command post operating theater and greatly reduces the customer cost of ownership. The Modular Command Post Systems' (MCPS) new line, MCPS-HD, decreases required floor space, simplifies structures, and integrates high-reliability components to provide the user with a lighter and more durable product.

The MCPS-HD optimizes the usability and logistics of portable display structures. The display structure is available with up to three projectors and a single screen, up to 18 feet in width. When combined with available Raytheon Solipsys video processing options, users can display from one to 16 windows simultaneously from any combination of up to 32 different sources. The new MCPS product line complements the existing display and networking products currently available and supplied to the Department of Defense and other government organizations.

Deployability, durability, supportability and versatility are all critical factors in a mobile command post application. The Raytheon Solipsys MCPS-HD endures the rapid setup and breakdown activities associated with highly mobile command environments. Lightweight structures with exceptionally durable coatings allow the MCPS-HD to survive where other display products fail. The use of lightweight materials, paired with the smaller footprint, reduces storage, shipping and fuel costs, and provides equipment necessary for field exercises or classroom training, when not deployed in support of a mission requirement. In a comparative analysis, the overall cost of MCPS-HD ownership is much lower than the competition, which is a tremendous benefit to our valued military customers who defend our freedom. In turn, this affords them the opportunity to maximize their respective budgets, and capitalize on next generation technology without compromise.
